Mesh Panels

In applications subject to corrosive conditions, stainless steel welded mesh may provide a cost-effective alternative to carbon steel. Stainless UK can supply a wide range of welded wire mesh for both construction and general engineering applications.

Since the advent of highways guidance document BA84 / 02 more structures are now specifying stainless steel welded mesh.
Stainless UK have for many years been the premier supplier of welded mesh. All mesh is manufactured from BS 6744 material and fabricated to the requirements of that standard. Mesh can be supplied in grade 304S31 or 316S33 stainless steel. Panels are produced using mechanical or manual welding methods and can be made using either ribbed or plain round material.  Stainless UK has facilities to manufacture panels up to the standard 4m x 2m size. Panels can be made to customer specifications and bent if required.
Stainless steel tying wire in 1.2mm diameter is held in stock. This is required for fixing all stainless steel reinforcement and also for fixing any highways bridge deck using carbon steel.
