Stainless UK has a new CNC high definition water injection plasma cutter in their Sheffield factory. The first of its kind in Europe, it uses the latest ESAB underwater cutting technology to manufacture clean edged stainless steel profiles.

High definition water injection underwater plasma cutting has several notable advantages over conventional plasma cutting. The edge quality is far superior with greatly improved squareness, much reduced dross formation and a far cleaner cut. Underwater cutting reduces the heat affected zone and so reduces distortion. Slots, holes and orther cut outs with fine tolerances can easily be achieved using this latest technology.

Stainless UK Ltd have one of the best high definition plasma cutting capabilities available in the UK and are able to cut stainless steel plates up to 6m x 3m and with thickneses from 2mm to 50mm.

Using the latest computer technology, CAD drawings can be quickly used to produce a wide range of precision profiles from Stainless UK's own extensive stock or using customers free issued material.

Stainless UK have a full range of in-house machining and fabrication facilities which can be combined with their plasma cutting service to provide a wide range of finished products.
