ASTM A193/A193M-11 specifies the mechanical properties of bolts, screws and nuts made from austenitic stainless steel for high temperature or high pressure service and other special purpose applications. High tensile stainless steel is a strong and durable metal alloy composed of Carbon (C), Manganese (Mn), Phosphorus (P), Sulfur (S), Silicon (Si), Chromium (Cr), Nickel (Ni), Molybdenum (Mo), Nitrogen (N), Iron (Fe). This combination gives the steel remarkable tensile strength at temperatures ranging from below zero to almost 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. |
