About Us

Founded in 1993 by Michael Wells, Stainless UK has remained a family-run business. Since 2010, the company has been led by Michael’s sons, Timothy and Oliver Wells, continuing the same focus on quality, service and specialist stainless steel solutions.

As a family run business, we pride ourselves on delivering a professional service with a friendly touch.

Over the years we have built up a reputation for manufacturing high quality stainless steel products to individual specifications. We hold high volumes of stock which enables us to supply customers quickly and efficiently.

It is important to us to move with the times and embrace innovation. We therefore continually invest in our production facilities and processes.

What we do

Stainless UK are a UKCA and UKNI certified Fabricator to Execution Class 2 for fabricated products in accordance with BS EN1090-2 Load Bearing and Structural Steel Components.

We are a specialist manufacturer of stainless steel reinforcement, anchors, tie bars and our registered trade mark product Grip-Bar®.

Our team can provide a bespoke fabrication service for civil engineering, geotechnical, marine, energy, oil, gas and off shore industry.

We are also a stainless steel stockholder of 304L, 304, 310, 316, 316L, 321/321H, Duplex 2205/F51, and Duplex 2507/F53.

Company Procedure

All products supplied by Stainless UK conform to the relevant BS or international standard. A certificate of conformity or analysis can be supplied on request.

Our own handling, processing, and packaging procedures ensure that these products reach you, the customer, in prime condition.

We carefully select our suppliers ensuring that we only use the products of the right quality. Stainless UK measures all suppliers against a series of predetermined quality control requirements.
